Driver Position

The driver’s responsibility is to transport the child from the pick up point to the destination as quickly and safely as possible while always respecting all parties involved and remaining firm, fair, and consistent. Drivers are expected to gain knowledge so they can be confident in their role and their ability to perform their job, they are expected to remain ever aware of the minor children in their care, and to be compassionate. Drivers deal with officers, healthcare providers, state agencies, and individual families from every walk of life and are expected to treat all people fairly and respectfully regardless of circumstances, prominence, or poverty. The goal of Secure Transportation Service is to be the mode by which children and families can get the help they need when they need it.
